Brush Knife is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Indispensable I have worn out several of these blades clearing fence rows and brush on our farm. I built almost 4 miles of fence and my FS-85 trimmer with brush blade accompanied me the entire way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work Horse Bought the brush knife to take care of over grown thorn bushes on my property. I attached it to my FS-110 trimmer and it works great. Easy to attach and makes the job super easy. It was no problem to cut through the bushes and would even take down small trees that were starting to grow near my fence line. Easily went through anything up to an inch in diameter. Used it for a solid five hours, including testing it on some things that probably shouldn't have been cut with it, and it is still sharp with limited show of wear. It was a little more expensive than I wanted to pay but it will last and it made the job take 5 hours instead of 5 days. I will add that if you are using it near things you don't want to cut be careful. It will take out both wood and metal fencing and has no hesitation to try and cut down big trees if your trimming to close.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I bought this blade to clear an overgrown powerline right of way. Lots of blackberries, small bushes, vines and briars along with some grass. My FS110R did fine with the the stock string trimmer head on the grass but the brushy stuff was eating the string. Installed this blade and went to work. Takes a little bit to get the feel for it but after about 15 minutes it was chewing up everything in sight. There is some type of thorny vine that closely resembles barbed wire and it was no match for the brush blade. Small saplings under 1" drop with ease. This land is extremely rocky and after hitting several of them the blade was undamaged. While it doesn't do well with larger saplings if you need to clear an area with thick weeds, vines, and brush this is the ticket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Using it with a FS 560 is unbeatable I purchased two of these for my FS 560 that came from my Southern States dealer in Lebanon, VA. The team there is great! Anyhow, this blade is unbeatable. It does great on grass, but can tackle nearly anything I can throw at it. We are in rocky limestone terrain, with autumn olives, blackberries, wild roses, etc. It's a mess of over grown pasture field, but this combo cannot be beat. The FS 560 is a beast of a machine, and the other blades, the scratcher, and the circular blade have their places, but this best all round one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Metal Blade Available I purchased my brush knife a year or so back and since then it has seen regular use on both my FS55RC and FS90. This is by far my most favorite metal blade out of the ones I own. I have cleaned up areas with briars, small saplings, random undergrowth and brush that would take a man several hours to clear by hand. With this blade however I'm able to clear through the thickest of brush and the end result is a nice clear area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blackberry Killer! I have a KM-94R and the FS-KM brush cutting attachment. I had a field of blackberries to kill and my local dealer suggested this blade. It's a little pricy but after using it I found it to be a great value as it sliced through 1.5" blackberry vines without even a hint of slowing down the engine. Even at half throttle! I hit a few metal objects that were hidden in the blackberry jungle and to my surprise there was very little damage to the blade. I was able to file out the dings and it's good as new. I could see how it might not be mounted on center and cause vibration as there is no real key except for a small lip against the head. I'm glad I bought this blade as it made my job quick and easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stihl Brush Knife I purchased an FS130 with the bicycle handles bars and harness. This brush knife works really well I used it to clear 9 acres around my home recently. It cut through heavy brush and saplings up to 4" with no problem. I've sharpened it a few times after hitting rocks that I didn't see. It is easy to sharpen and I have never experienced any vibration what so ever while using it. It is definitely worth the money.
